With FixFrame the system frame is installed during structural work, with standard protective profiles protecting the frame during the construction phase. The glass is placed inside after completing the construction phase in order to limit damage from plaster or floor work. The first of its kind, an all-glass system with Platin Blue and Safir Blue: the fixed components are delivered already glazed and are ready to be installed. This not only saves installation time and avoids glass breakage, but it also allows for more creative leeway.

Don't make the mistake of only comparing price. The essential differences are found elsewhere: 
in security, technology, experience, and design. Some fixed glazing emphasize "hand-crafted systems". These systems have special-purchase parts and do not come from a single cast. This may result in technical complications and visual defects. 

Never trust oral promises during a sales pitch - ask for test certificates and photos.
Verify if the system frame is "warm", meaning that there are no resulting thermal bridges from the use of "cold" aluminium or steel profiles.

While the phrase "rule of thumb" may be enough for some, Josko doesn't leave anything to chance. FixFrame Blue Vision is structurally designed with its own agenda. Holzforschung Austria. For stability despite extreme conditions. Glass often has to fulfil the same structural function as a thick wall. We do not have to spell out the challenges for you here.

An example: 
A glass wall (5 x 3.2 m) at an altitude of 8 m has to withstand extreme wind conditions. In figures, that is 150 kg per m² or 2,400 kg for 16 m².

Did you know that 32 litres per m² per minute flow over a standard glass wall (5 x 3.5 m) during rain? Given these figures, it's obvious that correct water drainage is very important. Josko conforms with ÖNORM 3691 and is developing its own solutions (eg FixFrame) that are both visually and functionally impressive

Moreover, there are also pathways between windows and walls as well as holes between terrace doors and the floor through which potentially destructive water can pass.

With modern Josko all-glass systems this is no problem! These windows can be replaced from the outside. The glass panels do not have to be transported through your home like other systems. 

Under certain conditions, other systems even require the removal of exterior façades, interior floors, or plaster - in the worst cases the panels cannot be replaced or can only be replaced at high cost.
