House Wild Oak
The residents wanted to create a residential building and a carpentry workshop that would blend in harmoniously with their surroundings and fit in beautifully with the village thanks to the use of the same materials. A love of wood played a central role in this. The architecture of the house is modern and open, without many partition walls, but with visible steel beams and an exposed roof truss. The interior is dominated by dark tones, combined with robust exposed concrete flooring and warm solid oak, which give the space a welcoming yet clear atmosphere.
