WHAT DOES THE TERM ISOSTEP 20 MEAN?

Isotep 20 means that the same applies to our barrier-free threshold with a 20-millimetre step height as to Isostep 30. If you opt for a flush window, such as the Platin wood/aluminium all-glass system, visible hinges are used and the door can only be equipped with a turn function. The disadvantage here is that you can only open the patio door by turning it and not by tilting it.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF A PATIO DOOR?

We recommend a minimum width of 80 cm. Anything less is not practical for everyday use. Patio doors are normally between 85 and 95 cm wide.

What is the maximum width and height of a patio door?

A popular size for patio doors is approximately 85 x 210 cm. However, you can determine the size of your door yourself. We manufacture to the nearest centimetre – depending on the window system – up to a height of 300 cm. Double doors are also popular. This gives you even more light and passage width in your living space.
